Strata | Contracts
Check what you are billed against what you agreed, before you pay.
Your contracts set the rates, the scope and the terms. Your invoices arrive in their thousands. Accounts payable checks that the lines add up and match the purchase order, because nobody has time to open the contract beside every invoice. Strata does.
From contract to checked invoice
Read the contract
Master agreements, schedules of rates, variations. AI reads each document and proposes the rules inside it: rates, what is in scope, what is included in a price, and the terms that apply.
Confirm the rules
Your contract or procurement lead reviews the proposed rules and confirms them. Confirmed rules are frozen, with a record of who confirmed them and when.
Keep them current
When a contract is varied, only the parts that changed are read again and brought back for confirmation. Everything else stays as it was confirmed.
Check every invoice
Each invoice is read and checked against the confirmed rules for the contract it falls under. Anything that does not match is raised for your team with the rule it broke.
The same answer every time
AI does the reading: it extracts the rules from the contract and the details from each invoice. The check of an invoice against the confirmed rules makes no call to an AI model. The same invoice against the same rules gives the same answer, today or in three years' time, and any decision can be replayed to show exactly how it was reached.
That is the difference between a flag your team can act on and one they have to argue about.
Fits around the systems you run
Strata connects to your finance and purchasing systems through the data exports and APIs they already provide. Nothing is migrated, and your teams keep working in the systems they know. It runs in a dedicated tenancy inside your own Microsoft Azure subscription.
Where it matters most
- Repairs and maintenance. Call-out rates, schedules of rates and what is included in a visit, across hundreds of jobs a week.
- Facilities and services. Long contracts with price reviews, where the agreed uplift and the billed uplift drift apart.
- Professional services and IT. Day rates, caps and scope, where the contract sits with one team and the invoices go to another.
Bring one contract and a month of invoices
We will show you the rules Strata finds in the contract and how your invoices check against them.
